What's it like inside a mascot suit? It's hot. It's sweaty. And most importantly, inspiring. Our dedicated Joey performer Stephanie O'Neil knows this well, performing as our favorite Can-Do Kangaroo at so many of our games, special events, and other community functions. The hugs and high-fives make all of the perspiration worth it. Stephanie and all of our mascot performers are changing lives for the better with every interaction. They bring Joey to life, and as a result, give life to others.Want to learn more about Stephanie? The AHSCA (Vic) Christmas party is always epic. We have some very interesting presentations that cant be missed if you design or install plumbing systems in unstable ground or reactive soils. We have some case studies from the Docklands (Coode Island Silt) which may leave you with a sinking feeling (pun intended).These are exceptionally high risk installations with extremely high value litigation claims increasing in number at an alarming rate. Come and learn what is going wrong. What is fact, what is fiction and what is in the Standard?As usual these presentations will be an interactive discussion (not a lecture), so come along and contribute, ask questions, provide answers (if you can) and lets try and work out the best way forward, as a collective. On lighter note we have comedian Des Dowling to remind us not to take it all too seriously. AHSCA : Learn, Teach & Share.

This event is just about fully booked. Please make sure if you have registered and can't make it you let us know so we can give your seat to someone else who wants it. Also, if you don't get a spot, and wish to attend let us know at secretary@ahscavic.com.au and we can put you on the waiting list in the event of a cancellation. We have negotiated a late finish until 1:00 pm so that should give everyone chance to come and have an unofficial chat about where the industry is headed over a few beers or wines; Complex Plumbing? Design Certification? A modernised Plumbing / Hydraulic education model? Mandatory Inspections? Certified Roof Designs? Specialised plumbing monitoring systems? Will the Bombers be any good this year?......
