Liam shows up at Il Giardino and asks Deacon, “What the hell are you doing?” Deacon says he’s working. Liam snarks, “You know what I mean. I’m talking about Sheila.” Liam complains that Deacon’s seeing an imaginary version of Sheila. He’s talking about the murderer. Deacon gets that he’s shocked. Liam points out that shocked is an understatement. They were all convinced she was gone… especially Steffy. Deacon thinks this is ideal as now Steffy won’t have to be haunted by the idea that she killed Finn’s birth mother. Liam struggles to find words.
Deacon refuses to be sorry for the fact that Sheila’s still around. He doesn’t condone what she’s done in the past, but he’s over the moon that she’s back with them. Finn is too. Liam says that’s a problem. Steffy’s asked Finn for one thing, and one thing only, to protect them. He can’t do that with Sheila around.
In Deacon’s apartment, Sheila thinks about Deacon’s marriage proposal. There’s a knock at the door and Steffy walks in. She was hoping she’d never have to see her again, “But here you are. Alive and well.” Sheila’s glad they have a chance to talk. Steffy thought this nightmare was over. Sheila recaps that Finn’s relieved she’s not dead. “I really hope that you’ll feel that way one day too.”
Steffy says Finn is confused. His emotions are all over the place. What he needs is for Sheila to stay away from him. She won’t fall for her manipulations. “You need to stay out of my life. We’re going to move on with our lives like you never existed.” Sheila says she gave birth to him. Steffy doesn’t care. He was ready to move on. This tie that she has to him is done. “It is over, Sheila.”
At Forrester, RJ’s upset that Brooke confronted Zende. He doesn’t need her fighting his battles for him. Brooke argues they’re family and they all work together. RJ fumes that it’s Luna’s private business and he doesn’t want anyone finding out about it. “Especially dad.” Just then, Ridge walks in and asks what’s going on. Brooke says they were just having a discussion. Ridge senses they want to change the subject. “What’s going on? Something I need to know?”
RJ insists there’s nothing his father needs to worry about. If there was a situation that didn’t involve either of them, Brooke wouldn’t need to tell him. Ridge is even more concerned now and wonders if RJ’s in trouble. Brooke says he did nothing wrong. Ridge asks, “Is it you and Luna?” He realizes from their expressions that he’s right. After recalling how he once met a little chemist and canoodling with Brooke for a moment, Ridge tells RJ to listen to his mother. If he needs a second opinion, “I’m right here.”

In the design office, Luna holds her tummy and wonders if she’s pregnant. Poppy comes in with a matcha latte and Luna looks ill. “I can’t right now.” Poppy asks her what’s wrong. Luna pulls out a pregnancy test. Luna says she’s been tired and sick to her stomach. They wonder if it could just be a bug. Poppy asks how long she’s been feeling sick. Luna says a few days. She threw up before she got there. “I’ve never felt this way before. I’m scared I might be pregnant.”
Luna says she hasn’t had regular periods, but she’s been stressed out. Poppy recalls that Zende said he used protection. She asks about Luna and RJ. Luna says she’s on the pill. She panics, “I can’t do this right now!” She worries it could be RJ’s or Zende’s. Looking at the pregnancy test, Luna says she can’t put it off any longer. “I have to know if I’m pregnant.”

At Il Giardino, Deacon thinks maybe some good will come out of this. Liam argues, “Not for Steffy,” who could finally breathe with Sheila gone. Deacon says Sheila tried to save her from Sugar. Liam points out he’s taking Sheila’s word for it. “Sheila brought Sugar into our lives.” Deacon cracks a joke and Liam’s offended. Deacon just hopes Steffy can keep an open mind and see Sheila the same way Finn does. Liam’s stunned.
In Deacon’s apartment, Sheila appeals to Steffy as a mother. Steffy informs her they are nothing alike. Sheila isn’t comparing the way that they parent. Steffy hisses, “I would never shoot my own child.” Sheila argues that Finn has forgiven her. Steffy tells her she brings absolute misery to people’s lives. “You are so, so delusional! There is nothing you could ever do to make up for what you’ve done. So, stop with the biological mom card, it’s ridiculous! This sick, twisted tie that you have to Finn? It ends. Today.”
At Forrester, Ridge tells RJ how proud he is of him and the work he’s doing there. Brooke chimes in, “He’s amazing.” Ridge goes on about the team he’s formed with Zende and Luna on Hope For the Future. It’s really hard to put a good team together, it’s like putting a really good, perfect relationship together. Brooke says there’s no such thing as a perfect relationship. Ridge chuckles, “Look at us!” Brooke tells him if it’s so perfect, why doesn’t he put a ring on it? Ridge laughs and tells RJ that his mother is perfect for him and maybe Luna’s perfect for him.

In the design office, Luna is freaking out waiting for the pregnancy test results. “I am not ready to be a mother right now.” Poppy assures her they’ll handle it together. She’s not alone. Luna panics that she wants a baby someday, but not now. She worries that it could be Zende’s. What would that do to her relationship with RJ? “He literally just forgave me.” Poppy thinks that’s fantastic. Luna argues if it’s Zende’s baby, she’ll lose him forever. Poppy urges her to breathe and try to relax. The timer goes off and Luna tells Poppy, “I can’t do it. Please, just read it.” Poppy holds up the pregnancy test. Luna rambles, “Is it negative? Is it positive? Am I pregnant?”

In Deacon’s apartment, Sheila tells Steffy, “Finn cares for me. He helped saved my life.” Steffy snarks that it’s his job, he’s a doctor. “This is insane. Do you realize that?” She tells her she gave Finn an ultimatum. “Guess who he chose? Me. His wife. His son. We will always be his priority, not you.” Sheila argues, “Why can’t he have us both?” Steffys says it’s not going to happen. She’s going to remain dead to them. “Don’t you dare try to worm your way into his head, his heart.” She screams that Sheila doesn’t care about Finn. If she did, she would leave him alone. “You just need to stay away from us. Or you’re going to answer to me.”
